It's one of the anime shows I feel would benefit the most for a remake or with more seasons - it has a lot of ingredients for a great core, but then just ends prematurely on every level. Worst because all of the plot threads were dropped and vanished, with an incredibly random-ass ending to cut the show short. Best because there were so many interesting subplots that could have gone places. In other words, it's the anime that, IMO, had an interesting world, interesting characters, and with both the best and worst plots ever produced. The show drops pretty much all of the plot threads it creates and forgets about them, closing out the story an ending it with some combination of deus ex machina 2 and pure bullshit. With all the concepts and factions presented, the show could get as robust as Legend of Galactic Heroes in depth, and I'm not being sarcastic. There are literally a dozen interrelated subplots going on, with enormous potential depth. Tons of groups, tons of factions with different interests. Extremely lethal power called the Alpha Stigma, and his beautiful comrade Ferris set out.
They do a great job creating the world and creating the potential for a world. At the King of Rolands command, Ryner Lute, a bearer of a cursed. The show has entertaining and diverse characters, lots of rule of cool thrown around, colors, stuff. My main criticism / observations of the show is as follows:
